On the 24th of August, 2016 WHALES College arranged a Guest Speaker Session as a Counseling Activity for its AS and A2 students. From 12 to 1 P.M. Mr. Zahid Shafiq spoke on ‘Ivy League Colleges and Yale: what students need to know about the admission process’ in the college auditorium. Mr. Zahid is a Yale graduate and Chairman of Yale’s Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) for Pakistan. He has been interviewing all applicants to Yale from Pakistan for last 34 years. He has been to 3 Ivy League colleges i.e. Columbia and Yale for Undergrad and then Harvard for MBA. The Speaker answered student queries and informed them of all of Yale’s requirements. The students found the session very informative and enriching.
