Farewell 2018 - Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage ’18 – The Grand Farewell 30th March, 2018, marked the wondrous day when the A2 batch was given a farewell at Ramada Plaza, Airport, Karachi in the most grand manner possible. From the starting welcome drinks to the picture perfect performances, everyone enjoyed The Grand Farewell. The event execution was handled by WHALES Event Planners and WHALES Marketing Society, with Ahmer Afroz and Rafe Naqvi on the lead. The performances began with a drama by Geek Haven and Dramatics Club, followed by first slot of title distribution to A2 Sciences. The next performance was a live cover of a mashup performed by the eight best singers in College. After the second title slot, a song by Agha Dilawar and Hamza Malik was dedicated to their batch mates and this was then complemented by further titles. The main highlight of the event came when Zubair Khan of AS Science performed a rap live on stage and the crowd went wild. To not kill off the energy, the long-awaited AS vs A2 Dance Off was brought to light as performance after performance raised the bar higher than ever before. The well-choreographed moves, along with the song selection, left the audience in awe and the chanting could’ve just brought the roof down. At the end of the dance off, both the competitors had so much crowd support that the decision was left at that and the winner, undecided. The evening was concluded with the remaining titles for teachers and staff, followed by a soul stirring performance by Ali Tariq. The dinner was served, pictures taken, vows made to never let this friendship break, tears dropped, and the event came to an end.
